How to set up an Association
The FBGOA committee members
will be more than happy to provide practical advice and visit your
track.
There are no hard and fast rules to setting up an association but
as a useful template this is the Membership Conditions of the Romford Greyhound
Owners Association which gives a taste of some of the necessary rules and
regulations and also some of the benefits that members can achieve.
- Membership of the RGOA is open to all owners of greyhounds
running at Romford under the trainership of any of the ten contract trainers
currently at Romford
- Membership runs from November 1st to October 31st of the
following year
- Membership costs £12 per annum (£6 from May
1st)
- Membership forms are available from the General Officer
and from the RGOA shop at Romford Stadium
- All greyhounds running at Romford enrolled in a Members
name are eligable for inclusion in various competitions and periodical members
races
- Members can sponsor individual races with a race name of
their choice for a minimum donation of £75 (Contact the Membership
Secretary for details)
- Members can get assistance in homing their retired
greyhound on completion of it's racing career at Romford
- Members will receive a newsletter on a quarterly basis,
advertising forthcoming events and reporting upon competitions and past
events

stadium - The shop supplies greyhound food, collars and leads, books magazines,
